作家简介：巴勃鲁·聂鲁达（1904～1973），原名内夫塔利·里加尔多·雷耶斯·巴索阿尔托，智利当代著名诗人。生于帕拉尔城。少年时代就喜爱写诗，16岁入圣地亚哥智利教育学院学习法语。 1928年进入外交界任驻外领事、大使等职。1945年被选为国会议员，并获智利国家文学奖，同年加入智利共产党。后因国内政局变化，流亡国外。曾当选世界和平理事会理事，获斯大林国际和平奖金。1952年回国，1957年任智利作家协会主席。主要作品有《二十首情诗和一支绝望的歌》（1924）和《诗歌总集》（1950）。1971年获得诺贝尔文学奖。

我喜欢你是静静的

I Iike for you to be still:it is as though you are absnt

我喜欢你是静静的，仿佛你消失了一样，

And  you hear me from far away and my voice does not touch me,

你从远处聆听我，我的声音却无法触及你，

it seems as though your eyes had flown away,

好像你的目光已经游离而去，

And it seems that a kiss had sealed your mouth

如同一个吻，封缄了一个嘴

 

As all things are filled with my soul

如同我盛满一切的灵魂

You emerge from the things fill with my soul

而你从一切中出现，充盈了我的灵魂

You like my soul ,a butterfly of dreams

你像我的灵魂，像一只梦想的蝴蝶

 

I like for you to be still,and you seem so far away

我喜欢你静静地，好像你已远去。

It sounds as though you are lamenting ,a butterfly coming like a dove

你听起来像在悲叹，一只如同鸽般细语的蝴蝶

And you hear me from far away and my voice does not reach

你从远处听我，我的声音却无法触及你

Let me come to be still in your silence

让我在你的静谧中安静无息

 

And let me talk to you with your silence

That is bright like a lamb,simple as a ring

你沉默如灯，简单如环

You are like the night,with its stillness and constellations

你如黑夜，拥有寂静与群星

your silence is that of a star ,a remote and candid

你的沉默就如星星，遥远而明亮

And you are like the word melancholy

你如同忧郁这个词

 

 

I like for you to be still:it is as though you are absent

Distent and dull of sorrow ,as though you had died

One word then,one smile ,is enough

And I am happy ,happy that is not true.
